The AKIRA-SEIKI, model AS-500T, is high speed tapping center utilizing several patent pending technologies to create a true high speed tapping center. With machine rapid rates as hig as 96 meters/min (3,780 IPM) and equipped with an HSK-40 15,000 RPM spindle and high speed 24 station ARM type ATC you have a machine that you can count on to provide reliable and efficient productivity for all your tapping and light CNC machining needs.
