Description
The Akira Seiki Performa 3 axis (X + Y + C1) CNC Lathe series are equipped with an 8" to 12'' hydraulic chucks with large bar capacities. Eqipeed with 12 station Radial or Axial (optional) VDI turrets, They easily handles all the tools needed for all of your 3 axis turning applications.Standard equipment for this machine includes preparation for bar feeders and a hydraulic tailstock (Not available on SL-25MC).
The machine can also be equipped with a chip conveyor, part catcher, part conveyor, bar puller, manual & automatic tool setup probes, work piece touch probes and a coolant drum filter (suitable for capturing tiny chips when machining aluminum).
