Description
The Akira-Seiki SL20 is a compact yet powerful machine equipped with a 6" hydraulic chuck able to pass material 1.77'' (45mm) in dia. With a Hydraulic turreta capacity for 10 tools and you will find this the ideal machine for use in all of your two-axis turning applications. Standard equipment on this machine includes preparation for bar feeders and a manual tailstock, which can optionally be upgraded to a hydraulically controlled unit.
The machine can also be equipped with a chip conveyor, part conveyor, bar puller, manual & automatic tool setup probes, work piece touch probes and a coolant drum filter (suitable for capturing tiny chips when machining aluminum).
