Description
The Akira Seiki SL25 is a powerful Performa 2 axis CNC Lathe equipped with an 8" hydraulic chuck with a bar capacity of 2.047" (52 mm). The 12 station Hydraulic turret easily handles all the tools needed for all of your 2 axis turning applications.Standard equipment for this machine includes preparation for bar feeders and a hydraulic tailstock.
Due to the lathes short length, the machines hydraulic tailstock is available only as an option.
The machine can also be equipped with a chip conveyor, part conveyor, bar puller, manual & automatic tool setup probes, work piece touch probes and a coolant drum filter (suitable for capturing tiny chips when machining aluminum).
Lathe SL25 is also available as the SL25 MC, a 3-axis (C-axis and Power Turret equipped) Turn-Mill .
