Description

The Akira Seiki Performa 5 axis twin spindle (X + Z + B + C1 + C2) CNC Lathe series are equipped with an 8" to 10'' hydraulic chucks mounted to the main spindle and C1 axis and either a 6" or 8" chuck mounted to the sub spindles or C2 axis. These machines are designed for turning and milling applications as well as back turning and milling operations . Equiped with 12 station Radial  VDI turrets, they easily handles all the tools needed for all of your front and back turning and milling operations.Standard equipment for this machine includes preparation for bar feeders.

The machine can also be equipped with a chip conveyor, part catcher, part conveyor, bar puller, manual & automatic tool setup probes, work piece touch probes and a coolant drum filter (suitable for capturing tiny chips when machining aluminum).
