Description
The smallest of the Performa 2-axis series of lathes from Akira Seiki, the GT-12 comes equipped with a Gang tool style tool holder and a CR42/5C collet equipped spindle. The machine is ideally suited for mass production of bar stock. For these applications, the machine can be equipped with an optional magazine fed Bar Feeder .
The machine can also be equipped with a hydraulic controlled manual or programmable tailstock, chip conveyor, part conveyor, bar puller, manual & automatic tool setup probes, work piece touch probes and a coolant drum filter (suitable for capturing tiny chips when machining aluminum).
