Description
WRD 130 (Q) is a floor type, ram equipped, live spindle, continuously controlled horizontal boring mill. It is an up-to-date, powerful, leading edge technology machine with high cutting power targeted for very large and/or very heavy workpiece machining. Its rigid frame together with the application of the most up-to-date technologies in the machine design represent a significant qualitative leap in development of horizontal boring mills of TOS VARNSDORF a. s.
Either of the two optional CNC controls, SINUMERIK 840D of Siemens or iTNC 530 of HEIDENHAIN, controls the machine in four basic axes X, Y, Z & W. If the S25 add-on fully CNC rotary table is employed (an item of optional equipment), two other CNC controlled axes, w & B, become available.
Further significant broadening of the product manufacture qualities makes the application of a wide range of optional equipment available. The spindle and feed drives applied with this type are as a standard the digital AC units of Siemens. WRD 130 Q model is ATC equipped.
