Today we are introducing the latest technological innovation from Sodick. It is for the Wire EDM machines and is called the I-GROOVE. This function causes the wire to rotate while cutting utilizing the entire exterior of the wire (like a milling cutter) greatly reducing taper effect and improving not only the finish but also improving the speed of the cut.
